Project Manager

Architect AAA, MRAIC

Randy was one of the original co-contributors of the Reimagine practice, working with Principals Vivian Manasc and Richard Isaac from as early as 1995. Since then, Randy has gained unique experience across various parts of the industry, working in the areas of capital assets management, healthcare facilities design, project management, and technical support as a representative of and consultant to several large organizations. He is well-valued in the firm due to his ability to operate at different strategic and detailed levels.

Randy’s background in science helps him to stay on the leading edge of sustainable design, and particularly in the creation of high-performance building envelopes. “I have always been interested in the physical environment,” he states. “I appreciate good design, but I’m technical-minded and approach projects through a scientific and client lens.”

Randy is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is well-known for “giving back” to younger generations and mentoring incoming architects and design professionals. He values the opportunity to take part in the community at large and to connect with others through his work. “At Reimagine, we understand that respect for humans produces better designs. We are humans making space for humans.”

Outside of work, Randy has recently completed the development of a vacation property on Mayne Island, B.C. using mass timber and a high-efficiency envelope that requires minimal active energy.
