Shea Gibson

Intern Architect, AAA

MRAIC, M.ARCH, BA (dist.) WELL AP, LEED Green Associate

Shea is a thoughtful, enthusiastic and open-minded Intern Architect. His role “is always growing and changing,” but he especially enjoys exploring ‘early design ideas’ and developing a concept’s narrative throughout all project phases. “What makes for good architecture is being able to tell a building’s story, and having every design decision reflect that story,” he says.

One of his favourite things about architecture and the Reimagine practice is its “studio-collaborative culture.” “Most good ideas are not generated in a vacuum. It’s a very personable profession and I appreciate being able to design with like-minded individuals.” He loves seeing a project as it nears completion, and being a part of the process. “It’s very satisfying to have it come together. Architecture exists in the human fabric for decades.”

He looks forward to learning more about building for sustainability and community-engaged design, expanding his knowledge and experience within his role at Reimagine, and growing into the “architect I want to become.” In his spare time, he loves drinking coffee, exploring design ideas, and developing his skills in landscape and architecture photography.
