Gloria Alamrew is an Ethiopian-Canadian writer and is the Creative Strategy Communications Lead at Reimagine Gather. Through her writing work, Gloria amplifies the marginalized and disenfranchised and pulls them into focus through her own Black and traditional African modalities of knowing. She takes up the mantle of writing as righting, using language as a tool of reparation, restoration, and futurism work. With over 11 years of experience as a professional writer, Gloria brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice, lending curiosity, precision of voice, and a lens towards work that aims to craft regenerative worlds.

With Reimagine Gathering, Gloria is honoured to be able to use her communications expertise to add to the collaborative conversations around how language and counter-culture storytelling can be engaged for social good within our built environments.
