Project Leader & Library Design Specialist

B.Sc.(Honours), Arch. Tech.

Graeme is a Designer, Technologist, and Library Design Specialist at Reimagine. His passion for libraries has long-predated his work at Reimagine, as he has volunteered for over a decade at the St. Albert Public Library, working primarily in the children’s library. Graeme regularly attends library conferences and engages with local and international library discourse.

Graeme believes that a building should be designed for, and with, the people who will use it. He is known for his passion in facilitating workshops. As a disability advocate, he feels that accessibility is a critical responsibility of designers, emphasizing that the voices of disabled people and all building users must be heard. “It just makes sense,” he says. “Community engagement has to inform the design for it to be successful.” At Reimagine, he loves that every question posed while working on a project leads to more creative thinking, greater design possibilities, and, ultimately, a stronger and more sustainable building.

As a leader of the Reimagine BIM Development Team, Graeme is continually researching and building skills in BIM and virtual visualization.
