A Win at the Small Business Eco Challenge

Edmonton is a green community. Our municipal government quietly (and not-so-quietly) champions excellence in sustainability through its world-class recycling program, for example.

It also encourages environmental responsibility for its local businesses, and the Small Business Eco Challenge is a testament to that fact. Every year, the City of Edmonton awards small businesses of all sizes with recognition for green operations, and as sustainability nerds, Manasc Isaac always makes a submission!

We are honoured (and thrilled) to have been awarded first place in the 50-100 employees category for 2014. Congratulations to the other award winners, and thanks to the City of Edmonton for encouraging its business community to think green. Also, we have to credit one of our clients, Oil Country Engineering for their win in the 11-50 employees category; these are the folks for whom we are building The Mosaic Centre, Alberta’s first commercial net-zero building.
