Skills Society Field Trip
Last Friday, Manasc Isaac’s monthly staff meeting went off-site, to the recently-completed Skills Society Action Lab in downtown Edmonton.
Our relationship with Skills Society began via the Manasc Isaac Blue Sky Award, which offers design services to Albertan non-profits who wish to realize their dream project. Supporting people with disabilities to be fully included as citizens in their community, we were compelled by the great work that the organization does. Their latest initiative is the Action Lab, a creative social lab and learning space for Skills Society and the larger community. Designed by our own Josh Kjenner, the Action Lab didn’t disappoint; it was the perfect space to brainstorm and engage in some team-building.
Available to rent by anyone who would like to offer their team a fresh environment to work through business or social challenges, the Action Lab is a great tool for any organization. We can’t wait to see it take off following its official launch.
Many thanks to Ben at Skills Society for allowing us to use this innovative and inspiring amenity for our staff meeting!
