Plugged In
On any given week in Edmonton, or other cities across the country, you can find members of the Manasc Isaac team either attending or speaking at conferences, seminars, luncheons and panels. Sometimes these events are architectural in nature, while others are based on community events or initiatives. Last week, Vivian Manasc made a cross-country trip to Ottawa to participate in the National Capital Commission. Vivian’s appointment to the NCC was a significant achievement, as the organization works to ensure that the design and architecture of Canada’s Capital Region is a source of national pride and significance.
This kind of volunteer work is an important thread in the fabric of our culture here at Manasc Isaac. Over the years, our partners and employees have plugged into a very wide range of community and industry organizations that we feel align with our vision and values. Some of our current involvements include:
- Citie Ballet (As Board Director)
- M.A.D.E. in Edmonton (providing venue / support / sponsorship of events)
- Downtown Edmonton Community League (board position, sponsorship, strong participation at events)
- Edmonton Design Committee (committee member)
- Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (Board member)
- Infill Development Edmonton Association (Board members)
We’re proud to help these groups which we feel are important in building a brighter future for our community.
Be sure to stay posted to both our blog and social media for invitations to events where we’ll be participating across Canada!
