Vivian Presenting on First Nations Design
Manasc Isaac has a long history working in First Nations design. In fact, our principal Richard Isaac moved from the UK to Canada over 30 years ago to volunteer in the First Nation community of Wabasca. In 2012 and 2o13, we organized the First Nations Conference on Sustainable Buildings and Communities, sparking a conversation about how to sustainably develop and grow infrastructure for healthy and successful First Nations communities.
Over the years, our team has had the privilege to work on many First Nations projects, and today Manasc Isaac is regarded as a leader in the field.
Principal Vivian Manasc spoke at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg this November, sharing her expertise in a presentation called “Learning in 4 Directions: Planning and Designing with First Nations Communities.”
