Studio Lead

M.Arch, Architect AIBC

Alana joined the Reimagine team in 2026 as Studio Lead for our Vancouver office.

She grew up in Máthxwi (Matsqui) in the Fraser Valley, but has lived all over the world, including Toronto, Montreal, Stuttgart, and Halifax. The West Coast eventually called her home, and she settled in Vancouver.

Alana’s path to architecture started with a love of art and design: she has always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and problem-solving. She earned her Bachelor of Design at OCAD University in Toronto before completing her Master of Architecture at UBC in Vancouver.

For Alana, architecture offers an interesting balance between artistic expression, technical thinking, and understanding how people experience the world around them. She loves that her designs have a tangible impact on people’s everyday lives and that no two projects or design challenges are ever quite the same.

Outside the studio, you can find Alana tackling an overly ambitious recipe, trying to keep her garden alive, swimming, biking around the city, or dragging her family and friends on an adventure.
