Connie has a knack for processes. As Strategy and Project Development Lead, she leverages years of diverse experience to create processes that help the Reimagine team work smoothly.

Connie was born in Edmonton but lived and studied abroad for many years. Her childhood years were spent in Edmonton and Hong Kong until she began boarding school in Ohio. She earned her education in chemical engineering at Western University in Ontario and eventually returned to Alberta to pursue a career in oil and gas.

It didn’t take long for Connie to realize that her social skills and interest in the big picture set her apart from her colleagues. A self-professed “failed engineer,” she became increasingly interested in bridging her technical understanding with broader problem-solving and business development and ultimately landed in strategy and operation management roles in oil and gas, engineering and academia.

Connie started at Reimagine in 2024, intrigued by the myriad possibilities she saw to leverage her technical, process, social, strategy, and business development skills. Since then, she has enjoyed watching the team find themselves in the processes she creates, and the ease of their workflow increase.

A lifelong learner, you’ll find Connie out in the wild during her free time, picking up new skills, staying active, and surrounding herself with people who expand her horizons. Her dog, Liko, encourages these interests. She also loves live shows and is constantly looking for the next must-see concert or theatre production.
