Jacqueline Armitstead

Designer

BDes

Jacqueline is a born-and-raised Albertan and grew up on an Angus farm west of Edmonton. She joins the Reimagine team part-time while she studies design at the University of Alberta and considers which direction her career will take her. In the future, she’d like to study architecture, but for now, Jacqueline is learning how to undertake thoughtful design: the kind that fosters relationships between people and their objects, spaces and communities.

As a Business Analyst/Designer, Jacqueline enjoys exploring technology and fabrication techniques in the Reimagine Sandbox, learning from her colleagues and strategizing for new projects. She enjoys applying and connecting all the skills she’s learned at University to project work – but her favourite part of a project is working with clients to find the solutions that work perfectly for them.

When not in school or working, Jacqueline enjoys varied hobbies: she is a novice boxer, loves to explore new restaurants and cocktail bars, and collects oddities and antiques.
