A Calgary native, Jordan completed his Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and his Master of Architecture at the University of Calgary. Following 10 years living elsewhere, Jordan returned home to find a city in exciting flux: “Calgary has grown into a vibrant, energetic and quickly emerging place,” he observes. “Being back feels inspiring, especially with the momentum in the design and development community.

As Studio Lead, Jordan steers Reimagine’s Calgary team and works to fulfill his vision of shaping the world around him. “I am motivated by the opportunity to create spaces that bring interest, meaning, and improvement to people’s lives, especially through sustainable design principles. The belief that design can have a lasting positive impact continues to inspire my work,” he explains. One of Jordan’s favourite parts of a project is seeing his clients excited as the dreams they’ve had for years begin to take shape. “Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.”

He excels at and loves collaboration, finding working with others to build a shared vision through collective problem-solving a rewarding process. Drawn to Reimagine’s breadth of work and the firm’s reputation for community impact, Jordan was keen to dive into the engagement process that underpins all of our projects. He notes that “it’s inspiring to be part of a team whose impact extends locally and globally, and whose process is rooted in genuine collaboration and thoughtful design.”

Outside of the studio, Jordan enjoys sports, travel and spending time with his family, especially the joy of seeing the wonder and growth in his sons.
