Architect, AAA
M.Arch. Design and Theory, MRAIC
Having studied and worked in Mexico, China, and now Canada, Miguel has garnered an incredible range of architectural experience. He obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico, and his Masters in Architecture Design and Theory from Tianjin University in China. His enthusiastic and open-minded perspective has made him a valued team member.
He credits his love of learning and his appreciation of new challenges as largely responsible for his varied architectural background. “As long as I keep moving in my life, I keep finding new ways to do things,” he says, “and that’s what I love.”
Having recently obtained his Alberta architecture license, Miguel is especially excited to deepen his knowledge of architecture in the field of educational facilities. “I have been guided,” he says, “into working with schools, which makes me very happy.” He also says that it is important that he keeps expanding his experience into different fields: “There are so many things that I don’t know. I want to take any chance that comes my way.”
