Post Construction/Occupancy Lead

Roland possesses an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in the area of construction. His responsibilities at the firm include project inspections during and post-construction, as well as communications between the firm’s design team, contractors and construction management. He manages the warranty period once substantial completion of each project is achieved, as well as acting as a liaison between the firm, the building owner, and the General Contractor. He ensures that all deficiencies are addressed as per the contract, and that they meet with the owner’s satisfaction. He is driven in his work to build strong relationships with the public, and with contractors and stakeholders, in order to ensure a productive and respectful working environment and to maintain the firm’s impeccable reputation. 

Roland’s innate curiosity and resourcefulness make him a highly-valued member of the team. As his personal philosophy is to “be helpful”, he is always happy to share his incredibly vast wealth of knowledge, accrued over a lifetime of construction, senior management and trades experience. He loves being a part of Reimagine, and values the opportunity afforded him to collaborate with and support others on the team. “It’s like a family here,” he says. 

Outside of work, Roland is an active member of his community, and supports organizations such as the Parkland Turning Points Society, the St Albert Rotary Club, Youth Against Violence (YOUCAN). His love of helping and supporting others is such that he hopes to create his own internet resource that will offer advice on matters of home improvement and construction. He also loves travelling the open road on a CanAm Spyder, his “3 wheeled freedom machine”. The longest road trip so far has been riding across Canada and back, covering 13,500 kilometers in five weeks. He also enjoys gardening and raising chickens.
