Sara Otto became part of the Reimagine team in 2026, joining our interiors team as a junior designer.

Originally from Valleyview, Sara has lived in Edmonton for many years. She feels her destiny to design was  preordained; she had a keen interest in space-building even as a child and distinctly remembers building a Polly Pocket house out of cardboard as a youngster. As a teenager, she rearranged her space constantly and begged her parents to let her paint her room. After shadowing a family friend who did residential design, Sara decided to pursue her Bachelor of Interior Design at Yorkville University.

At Reimagine, Sara employs her analytical and creative skills through problem-solving to find solutions that balance beauty and function for her clients. She enjoys working through floorplans and furniture layouts, approaching them like puzzles to solve. Sara loves to see a client's face light up when they get excited about a design, and she also enjoys the collaborative nature of design, intersecting with clients, consultants and the project team.

Sara lives on an acreage, so her free time is filled with gardening and outdoor activities with her dog during the warm summer months. She’s a fan of rugby, snowboarding, reading and painting.
