Tyler Day

Post Construction Services Specialist

Tyler was born on Vancouver Island and raised on a farm just outside of Edmonton. This rural setting shaped his perspective on place, material and how environments shape how people experience the world.

Tyler’s background is varied and well-rounded. His father, a journeyman carpenter, gave him early exposure to how buildings come together in practice. After high school, Tyler worked in construction for several years before enrolling at the University of Alberta as a mature student. There, he studied Philosophy and Sociology, which equipped him with a broader framework to understand people, systems and the environments we create. The connection between people, space, and experience reinforced Tyler’s interest in design.

Joining the Reimagine team in 2026, Tyler’s role as Post Construction Services Specialist places him at the transition between project completion and occupants using the space. Here, design intent meets reality, revealing how a space truly works for the people it was created for. Tyler supports clients as they take the reins, ensuring they feel confident in how to use and understand their space, and that the final result functions and feels as intended.

Outside of work, Tyler cultivates a harmonious balance of family, friends, creativity, and movement. He cherishes spending time with his family and playing with his two boys, writes and plays music, and stays active through sports with friends.
