Mosaic at BUILDEX 2015
If you are attending BUILDEX in Edmonton on March 18, 2015, be sure to join the Mosaic team as they present “The Mosaic Centre – Achieving Net Zero for Commercial Buildings.” Taking place at 1:30pm, the presentation will tell the story of the Mosaic Centre for Conscious Community and Commerce, which has evolved the practice of sustainable architecture in Alberta. It aims to become the very first Living Building Challenge Petal Certified building in Alberta and the first LEED Platinum building in Edmonton. Further, this commercial project is targeting net-zero energy use, producing as much energy as it consumes over the year. These are lofty, unprecedented goals for a building in a northern climate.
Most surprising of all, these ambitious goals will be achieved on budget and ahead of schedule! Join the Mosaic team at BUILDEX to find out how they achieved the impossible.
