Sneak Preview of PCL Building One
On October 17, the Manasc Isaac crew was fortunate to get a sneak preview of a project that we are extremely proud of: PCL Building One. This striking office will be the jewel of the PCL’s North American headquarters, housing executive staff, hosting visitors and standing as a testament to the technical prowess of the international construction company.
Among many impressive features, PCL Building One boasts a prominent exposed concrete wall that curves throughout the building. Both curved and canted, this feature wall solidifies PCL’s well-earned reputation as concrete experts. Anchored into this wall is an innovative staircase composed of custom brackets that hold glass treads – a simple but elegant gesture that once again speaks to the credibility and skill of the organization.
Natural light fills the office space and common areas through a generous oculus and clerestory, while a striking rooftop patio takes advantage of the building’s view of the PCL campus, overlooking the facility’s lush courtyard.
We can’t wait for this building to come alive with occupants, and we thank PCL for giving us the opportunity to see the work of the Manasc Isaac team come to life!
