Winter City Madness
Edmonton is finally embracing its cold side. Last week, we hosted Winter Cities Shake-Up 2015, an international conference celebrating winter design, winter business, and winter fun!
Our team was energized by this conversation with planners, designers, business entrepreneurs, artists and political movers and shakers about how to maximize our enjoyment of our long and chilly winters.
To keep the ball rolling, Manasc Isaac principal Vivian Manasc is going to be traveling to Ottawa to speak at the“Winter Cities” Capital Urbanism Lab Event on February 12, 2015. Discussing best practices regarding design and planning for winter cities, Vivian will bring to the table decades of experience as an innovator in cold-climate sustainable design.
