HISTORY

Edmonton’s Queen Elizabeth High School provides a personalized learning environment that encourages students’ full participation through academics, athletics, fine arts, clubs, intramurals, student leadership, technology and innovations. Queen Elizabeth is one of only two schools in Alberta designated as an UNESCO school, which stands for United Nations Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization. As a UNESCO school, Queen Elizabeth High School is dedicated to providing an inclusive, innovative and dynamic educational experience. 

VISION

In alignment with Queen Elizabeth’s learning philosophy of inclusivity and innovation, the school’s Centre for Global Innovation Action Lab is designed with the specific intention of fostering inspired thinking and creative collaboration. Outfitted with the most up-to-date 21st century learning technologies, this flexible and productive environment adapts to meet the needs of its occupants, and to grow alongside students and educators.
