Project Sectors
The Brocklehurst Arena project involved an upgrade and addition to the existing arena facility, which was built in the 1970s and has had piecemeal additions and upgrades at various stages of the building's lifespan. The City of Kamloops identified key aspects of the building that would be included in the upgrade in order to create an updated system to extend the life of this community asset. The scope involved the addition and redesign of mechanical room spaces to improve the efficiency of mechanical systems for the Arena Chiller Plant and the adjacent outdoor pool. It required the implementation of an energy-efficient and integrated building system design. Reimagine led the project for the duration, providing the City with technical insight, clear communication, and effective design solutions to achieve the project goals and implement a safe and organized execution plan to minimize disruption to adjacent occupied facilities. The outcome of this project is a more sustainable building and site that in turn builds into a more sustainable city.
