HISTORY
The Mercer Building is a well-known historical landmark in Edmonton's Ice District area. Startup Edmonton, a community campus and incubator for entrepreneurs in the city, reached out to our team with the ambition of rejuvenating their current space within the Mercer Building and enhancing the overall quality of interior experience for Startup Edmonton members, staff, and event visitors.
VISION
The refreshed space is warm, accessible, and highly functional. The reimagined space takes on a bold modern aesthetic while preserving and celebrating the building's unique historical character. By integrating an elevator, we were able to provide street-front access and a fresh identity for Startup Edmonton in the Mercer building. The Mercer Warehouse's new main entrance will provide a visible and welcoming entry point, inviting the curiosity of passers-by and creating a memorable experience for tenants. A beautiful roof-top patio adds additional event space in the heart of the city.
